Royal Albert Bridge

After many years of neglect work has started to refurbish the Royal Albert Bridge at Saltash Cornwall. Much investigation been done to find out the original colour that Brunel chose. This though is not to be the colour and time will tell what that will be, it has to look better than it does now though.
I intend to regularly photograph the progress of the refurbishment programme over the coming months and upload the results to my web site at www.alanpackerphotography.co.uk/Local%20History.html
I hope this will be an interesting project and will document it for future history.

Double the Fun

This week I've had the pleasure of photographing Phoebe and Ruby, 18 month old identical twins. They had lots of fun playing with balloons, building blocks, eating cake, ice lollies and blowing bubbles...one of the advantages of me bringing the studio to your house is that not only does everyone feel more at ease in familiar surroundings but it's easy to change clothes if they accidentally get dirty and we can include favourite toys as props...or even your pet if that's what you'd like!

In 90 minutes we got over 200 shots of the twins so there's plenty more to come but for a sneak preview see below.

The Mayor's Parlour

Saltash Town Coucil-Derek Holly will be passing the mayorship to Sue Hooper MBE this year and asked me to document this year's council members for prosperity. It's always an honour to be asked and I wish them all the best for the year ahead.
