After may years of neglect they have started the process of repainting the Royal Albert Bridge, the rail link between Plymouth Devon and Saltash Cornwall. Much investigation has been done to find out the original colour that Brunel chose. This though is not to be the colour and time will tell what that will be, it has to look better than it does now though.
I intend to regularly photograph the progress of the refurbishment programme over the coming months and upload the results to my web site at http://www.alanpackerphotography.co.uk/Local%20History.html
